Portrait One and Portrait One Sales
Phase One stopped development of Portrait One in 2005 and it became an obsolete product in 2007. There are many Studios still using the product and Dragonfly Workflow Ltd can offer limited support to those users. However it is advised to upgrade to StudioPlus as it has increased stability, an improved set of business tools and a fully integrated sales presentation which is modern and professional looking. StudioPlus still integrates with Capture One Pro version 3.7.x.

A potted history of Portrait One
Phase One are renowned for their excellent quality digital camera backs and ground breaking Capture One software. In 2001, Portrait One was released as a complement to the digital back products and offered a workflow solution to the Portrait Studio market. Portrait One consisted of three elements, Manager, Capture and Sales. As time went by, DSLR camera specifications improved and existing studios chose to take that route rather than replace their medium format cameras and digital backs. With the reduction in sales of the Phase One product to the portrait market, it was not economical to continue development of Portrait One beyond version 3.7.
Phase One used the existing StudioPlus product as its management system under license and although Portrait One was not developed further, Studioplus certainly was.
StudioPlus improved dramatically with the release of StudioPlus 2007 and integrated its own Sales Presentation software with the ability to use composite templates. Unlike Portrait One Sales, Capure One is not required to be running in the background of the sales presentation and this reduces the drain on resources. Invoices created in Studioplus contain accurate thumbnails of the products, including composites and their components. StudioPlus has a rendering facility that is far superior to Portrait One Sales' automatic development process.
